Huff & Puff

Huff&puff, is a VR game created in the Multimedia Laboratory of Athens School of Fine Arts. It aims to stimulate the function of conditioned reflexes and the fusion between thought and command for movement in the same way that extreme sports do. There is deliberately no simulation of a physical terrestrial or non-terrestrial fantasy world. So the volumes and shapes that star are primary geometric structures and they are not subject to any natural laws to be shaped according to them. They exist as the absolutely essential elements required for the game to function. The continuous movement that exists in them is influenced by the different breathing rates that we humans or animals have depending on their property and activity. Thus it is as if there is the involuntary function of breathing throughout the system which is artificial-digital but is also alive at the same time.
