In this film, I want to tell a story about a mother who loves but hates her own child in the same time. I want to explore this conflict and the subtle emotions embedded in this mother’s mind. Due to the body loss of her newborn child, the mother gains complex feelings about her child and goes crazy in the end. In terms of the visual part, I want to strengthen the wood textures of the puppet and dry feelings of the sets to give the characters visceral feelings and emotions.
