Inspired by a sound design by Steve Buchanan, I have created a digital world centred around rituals and rhythms. I see rituals as an expression for body and mind to come to rest in a constantly changing reality. The reality in Maser has developed in a different direction to ours. The change in reality therefore raises questions about the future development of our bodies and our taste for beauty. What would a future shape look like if we could design it with all available technologies? Would our current understanding of beauty seem strange or uncanny?
