Complexus is a 3D animation that highlights a metamorphosis. An abstract shape, undergoing transformation, reveals a human face, itself melting into a new, fluid iteration that is in continuous change. Complexus stages a symbiosis between humans and technology, and questions the impact of the latter on our understanding of identity and the body, and how technology redefines culture and creativity. The pastel colours and the fluidity of movement suggest a harmony between human and machine, a central characteristic of the techno scene, where the boundary between natural and artificial becomes increasingly blurred.
