Veronique Sapin
Veronique Sapin is a visual artist (videos, installations, photos, ink, and artist-books). Before choosing to devote herself entirely to art, she studied History in Perpignan and Montpellier, Art History in Lille and journalism in Paris, a profession she practiced for several years in France and Canada. She is also curator and co-founder with the American artist C. M. Judge of the international women artists collective FemLink-Art since 2005. One hundred and forty three video artists (143 women artists, 12 men artists) from sixty three countries have agreed to participate. She co-curated more than 220 events in video-art. Veronique Sapin initiated important partnerships with Unesco for the video training of women artists from the African continent. She takes part in conferences and lectures on video art and on FemLink-Art in several countries (Singapore, Lebanon, Philippines, Cyprus, Canada, USA etc.)
