Alina Yunusova

she studied at the Institute of Cinema and TV “GITR” at the Faculty of directing feature and documentary films. Now Alina is a student at the Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia. Rodchenko. Yunusova works with the topics of digitalization, algorithms and big data. She is interested in the changes that occur when human daily life (labor and human relations) with neoliberal control mechanisms in the digital space. The interest in the study of such topics is connected with the reflection of the experience of the artist’s family migrating from one country to another and finding themselves in an unstable situation of lack of rights and citizenship. Yunusova combines moving image, photography and installations in her work. Alina was a participant in the workshop of collective cinema “Dreams in the area” within the framework of the program “V-A-C Expansion of space. From the center.” She also participated in the laboratory “Extracurricular Practices” of the International Experimental Film Festival MIEFF.
