Jake Couri
Jake Couri (b. 1989) is a neurodivergent artist working in sculpture and video examining the intersections of manufacturing, consumption, and their impact on the human body. Couri’s exploration is driven by a fascination for our evolving relationship with technology and the accelerating transition towards a digital-centric future. His work has been shown at Milan Machinima Festival in Milan, IT, Room 57 in New York, NY, and Superposition Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. He’s completed Artist in Residence programs at NARS Foundation in Brooklyn, NY and Anderson Ranch in Snowmass Village, CO. Jake received his MFA with honors from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA. He lives and works in New York City.
