Marva Von Theo

At times darksome and dancey, but mostly introspective, gripping and moony, Marva Von Theo find their way through the dark synth music to twilight electro pop. Formed in 2017 by Marva Voulgari (vocals, songwriting) and Theo Foinidis (synths, composition, production), MVT have released two studio Albums («Dream within a Dream» 2018, and «Afterglow» 2021) that stood out for their remarkable aesthetics, their multi-layered, compelling and innovative compositions, the expressive, captivating vocals and their particularly melancholic lyrics over danceable beats.

Each of their live performances is a unique, almost ritualistic experience for the listener who, after being immersed in their eerie, poetic atmospheres, finally emerges into the light, dancing redemptively to the electronic beats of their music.

They have performed in various venues and festivals in Greece and abroad, such as Release Athens Festival (as the opening act for Leftfield (UK), Stereo Nova (GR) and Boy Harsher (US)), Athens Music Week, TedEx, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Nocturnal Cultural Nights (DE), Linecheck (IT) but also as the opening act for Trentemøller (DK), Motorama (RU), Molly Nillson (DE) and Hooverphonic (BE).
