Elena Dimopoulou

Eleni Dimopoulou is an Athens-based artist with a bachelor at Visual Arts and master’s degree in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts.She has won awards at the 9th Biennale of Greek Schools of Fine Arts with a VR video game artwork and the Pinewoods Studios at Lift-Off Academy Global Awards for her first-time VR film and nominated Finalist at the category Best Animation at Roma Prisma Awards.She has also awarded with scholarship from Epic Games at UT-HUB where she voted as a finalist in the festival’s bootcamp and with a fellowship as an art director and game designer at Epic Games Woman’s Creator Program UEFN in collaboration with Dancing ATOMS,WIGI/Womens In Games Internationaly,GreenRain,AmazonWebServices .She is also a certified Cesium Developer and an Unreal Engine Artist.She has also worked in the industry with this role and she is currently working as a game designer in Fortnite.She has also participated in Documenta14 ,IFPA Drama International Performance Forum2022+2023 ,Athens Digital Festival ,Animart ,Athens Science Festival, Platforms, Video Miden 2023, International XOUTH Festival, ONED art experiment film festival ,Visualizing the Voice of Maria Callas SFN, she has showcased her work in numerous international festivals and exhibitions, collaborating with artists worldwide and has taken part in multiply exhibitions in galleries and museums.(The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum ,Vorre Museum, Benaki Museum, European Art Center, Pinakothiki Grigoriadi, La Platforma etc). She has also collaborated with Marisa Olson in two exhibitions -and currently designing a big project with famous artistis that is currently on progress connecting artists from different areas of the world though an interactive video game platform.As a mentor teacher, she guided a student to win second place at the KALLOS/The Ultimate Beauty competition at the Museum of Cycladic Art. Dimopoulou is also dedicated to mentoring, winning awards for her guidance,and she is also designing and implementing educational workshops for individuals with special needs with new media technologies VR and video games.
