Akinori Goto
Born in 1984, Akinori Goto is an artist. Has been revisiting old existing techniques and media, with a focus on phenomena that emerge out of their combination with present-day technologies, and on the relationship between physical and digital. Most representative of his creative work is the “toki-” series of time sculptures made with a 3-D printer. Next to frequently exhibiting his works at museums and art festivals in Japan and abroad, he works as a Senior Lecturer at Musashino Art University. The main exhibitions in which he recently participated include Ars Electronica Festival(Austria · 2018), SXSW ART PROGRAM(United States · 2017), and THE DORAEMON exhibition TOKYO 2017(Tokyo · 2017).
